WNBA Atlanta Dream v Toronto Tempo in Toronto on June 14, 2026.
The Atlanta Dream answered Thursday’s loss to the New York Liberty with a statement performance on Sunday, rolling past the Toronto Tempo 102-77 to keep pace in the Eastern Conference race.
Angel Reese was the story even when she wasn’t at her sharpest. The star forward finished with 15 points and 17 rebounds — her sixth double-double in the last seven games — despite a difficult night from the field, shooting just 6-of-19. She compensated with relentless work on the glass, pulling down 11 offensive rebounds to consistently extend Atlanta’s possessions. The game turned briefly chippy in the second half when Tempo forward Isabelle Harrison brought Reese down hard on a play that drew a flagrant-2 foul and an ejection, but the Dream never let the moment derail them.
The backcourt duo of Allisha Gray and Rhyne Howard made sure of that. Gray was especially impressive, pouring in 26 points and dishing seven assists to anchor the offense, while Howard added 24 points and six rebounds as the two combined to put the Tempo away early and often. Toronto’s Isabelle Harrison led the visitors with 17 points before her ejection, but the Dream’s depth and cohesion were simply too much to overcome.
With the win, Atlanta improves to 9-4 on the season, sitting just a half-game behind the Liberty (10-4) for the top spot in the East. The Dream will look to build on this momentum Thursday when they host Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever (8-5) in what should be one of the more anticipated matchups of the WNBA week.
